Nineteen medals from the Acro World Championships in Italy

Team UK Performing Arts travelled to Castellanza, Italy in November 2025 for the IDO World Acrobatic Championships.

The squad returned with nineteen medals: six gold, ten silver and three bronze, won across the Children, Junior and Adult sections.

Acrobatic is the newest of the championships Team UK contests, and the entry remains open rather than capped while the competition grows — which makes a medal haul on this scale a genuine statement of the depth coming through.

Qualification for the 2026 season is open now. Every entry is judged by a panel of three on Technique, Composition and Image, and any dancer meeting the qualifying standard joins the reserve list for selection.
