Applications are submitted by studio owners and dance teachers on behalf of their dancers. Dancers must reside in, or be citizens of, the United Kingdom.

Children: 12 and under. Junior 1: 13–14. Junior 2: 15–16. Adults: 17 and over. Age divisions are determined by the dancer’s age in the competition year.

Yes. Enter your studio details once, then add as many competition entries as you need. Every entry is reviewed independently, but you make one combined payment at the end.

Yes. Create a teacher account and your application is saved as a draft automatically. You can return at any time before payment to finish it.

Each entry needs its own video. Videos must be unedited, filmed in landscape, and supplied either as a YouTube or Vimeo link or as a direct MP4 upload under 4GB.

Three judges each score Technique, Composition and Image out of 10, giving a maximum of 30 points per judge and 90 points overall. An entry scoring 84 or above qualifies automatically; an entry scoring 78 to 83 is ranked as a reserve.

No. Achieving the qualification score marks an entry as Qualified by Score. Team UK then confirms final selections, because the number of places at each championship is limited by the Event Participation Number.

Results are released after all three judges have completed scoring for your championship. You will be emailed at the address used on your application, quoting your six-digit submission ID.
